Approximation Fest

I had the pleasure of creating a motion graphic piece for the neo-classical and experimental music fest Approximation Festival. Every year the festival brings some of the most innovative and boundary-pushing artists like Toechter, Ben Frost or Koki Nakano to Düsseldorf, Germany. Curated by BAFTA and Oscar winning composer Volker „HAUSCHKA“ Bertelmann.

Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible

With it’s roots in classical piano music on the one hand and the playfulness of avantgard sounds on the other, my goal was to create a highly stylized visual metaphor of this symbiotic relationship.
